Has anyone here ever put a jet ski engine/pump on an aluminum jon boat? i have scoured the web and found jet ski to jon conversions, but not using an aluminum boat. i am seeing more and more "good running" jet skis for sale in the $500 or less range.. The way i see it there will be some difficulty in finding a good solid way to secure the fiberglass of the ski to the aluminum of the jon boat but that difficulty will be much less than what would be required to fabricate the entire drive system. plus the drive system in these jet skis is time tested and works good..
